The Path to Poland for Indonesians: From Work Permit to Residence
Indonesian citizens require a National D-Visa to work and reside legally in Poland. The documentation process requires strict adherence to legal procedures.
LegalMigra provides comprehensive support: from securing your Work Permit (Zezwolenie na pracę) to your visa strategy, and finally your Residence Card after arrival.
Step 1: Type A Work Permit
The basis for your visa is a Type A Work Permit. We handle the process with your Polish employer, submitting all documents to the Voivodeship Office (Urząd). A properly secured permit significantly reduces the risk of visa refusal.
Step 2: Visa & Document Legalization
Since 2022, Indonesia has joined the Apostille Convention. This means your Indonesian documents (Kartu Keluarga, birth certificates) only need an Apostille, not full consular legalization. We advise you on how to prepare these for the Embassy in Jakarta.
Step 3: Residence Card (Karta Pobytu)
Immediately upon your arrival in Poland, we begin your Residence Card process, granting you up to 3 years of legal stay and the ability to travel within the Schengen area.
Comprehensive Legal & Administrative Support
We provide comprehensive adaptation assistance: obtaining a PESEL number, address registration (zameldowanie), vehicle registration and customs clearance, as well as legal support for marriage registration in Poland. Our lawyers will handle all the bureaucracy.
